PwC name new UK insurance leader

Andrew Kail has been named by PricewaterhouseCoopers as the leader of the firm’s UK insurance group.

He has been at the firm for seven years, and has 17 years of industry experience.

He takes over from Clare Thompson, who has been appointed as the firm’s head of risk advisory services group.

Kail’s appointment takes effect immediately.

His new responsibilities will be the co-ordination and leadership of all insurance services offered by PricewaterhouseCoopers across the UK.

The firm’s UK financial services leader, Chris Jones, praised Kail’s extensive experience and described him as the right man to see through the firm’s strategic plan.

Kail has expressed his delight at his new appointment.
