Chubb Launch MasterPackage Cover

| January 10, 2008 | 0 Comments

Insurance and security firm Chubb has today revealed its flagship MasterPackage policy, designed to meet the wide ranging requirements of commercial insurance buyers under a single policy document to provide more cohesive cover for small to large businesses nationwide.

The idea behind the new MasterPackage policy is that it will combine the diverse and varied insurance needs of commercial buyers within one policy, in order to provide a one-stop shop of insurance cover rather than requiring customers to go between several or more insurance providers for their commercial coverage.

Amongst some of the key benefits of the new MasterPackage, which is currently available to brokers and customers directly is that there is no need for a description of business, whilst the security of electronic data and wide damage cover is provided amongst the policy terms.

“A key aspect from the client’s perspective is that there are no surprises in the policy if a claim arises. The warranty free element of the new policy will be a strong selling point. Coupled with the breadth of cover offered, Chubb’s MasterPackage policy is quite clearly raising the bar”, said analyst Gary Bryant from HW Wood on the matter.

Meanwhile Chubb spokesperson and Package Practice Leader Graham Medcalf was confident as to the amenability of the new policy to commercial insurance customers across the country. “In a marketplace trending towards greater standardization of cover we have taken the opportunity to establish distinct value in our MasterPackage policy. We are confident it absolutely supports brokers in satisfying the needs and demands of clients.”

The MasterPackage policy is available now through insurance brokers and intermediaries nationwide, and looks set to prove a popular alternative to multi-sourced insurance products.
