RFIB Group Limited has named Hugh Champion as the firm’s new director.

As a director, Champion will be responsible for developing an enacting strategy for the growth of the firm’s interntional facilities and binding authority business, which currently occupy leading positions in the marketplace.

Champion will be in charge of a team of ten specialists, and will work to promote and expand the RFIB business beyond North America, as well as the substantial international RFIB reinsurance business.

RFIB Group’s chief executive, Patrick Holcroft, has said that he believes there will soon be increasing opportunities on the global stage for RFIB to expand its insurance business and to operate on a larger scale, adding that a considerable degree of progress had already been made.
