New distribution director at Giles
Leo Gibbons has been named by Giles Insurance Brokers as the firm’s new distribution director.
He leaves behind Novae Insurance, where he was marketing director and one of the original management team. He brings with him over 18 years’ worth of experience in sales and distribution.
The post has recently been created as a consequence of the firm’s swift growth.
In his new role Gibbons will be responsible for enacting placement strategy with business relationships and making certain that new partner brokers are able to access all the services the firm has to offer.
Michael Quinn, group managing director, welcomed Gibbons to his new position, praising his wealth of experience and expressing delight that such a respected individual was joining the firm.
Quinn went on to describe Gibbons as an asset, adding that he would bolster the senior team.
Gibbons has expressed his own excitement at his new position, saying he is thrilled to be part of the fastest growing insurance broker in the UK.
