Two of Marsh’s senior executives have parted ways with the international broker.
Phil Moyles, who held the post of chief executive of America, has submitted his resignation.
Mark Feuer, formerly chief operating officer, has also departed from the firm.
The loss of two senior staff members occurs two weeks after the firing of Michael Cherkasky on 21 December. Cherkasky was MMC’s (Marsh’s parent company) chief executive.
In other recent upheaval, Marsh had recruited Daniel Glaser, formerly of AIG, to succeed Brian Storms as global chief executive. Consecutive poor quarter results had led to Storms losing his position.
Resulting from this, the news agency Reuters report that billionaire Nelson Peltz may be interested in acquiring a stake in MMC.
The recent changes are said to be part of Glaser’s desire to improve the management of the firm.
