Lockton names new claims manager

Derek McLeod has been appointed by Lockton to be its new claims manager for the real estate and construction division.

He leaves behind a post as insurance manager for the retailer BHS.

McLeod will report directly to the CEO, Richard Owen.

He will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the division, in addition to focusing on any losses related to complex real estate or construction.

McLeod has amassed an impressive 19 years of experience in insurance claims, working in a range of different fields.

Lockton’s real estate and construction division CEO, Richard Owen, has welcomed McLeod to the firm, describing him as a valuable asset.
