Groupama is to bolster its commercial schemes underwriting team with the addition of two new members, in an effort to reinforce its positon as an industry leader.

The firm’s distribution and customer service director, Cathie Bruce, explained that there is a real opportunity for Groupama to expand the schemes underwriting branch of its business. She went on to praise the underwriting team’s ability to realise the potential in the niche insurance area, and the team’s skill and commitment.

The schemes underwriting team is led by two assistant managers, Nick Cox and Paul Audsley.

Cox and Audsley will, following the appointment of two new members, supervise an eight-man underwriting team, each of which will have its own remit.

Bruce went on to say that the schemes area had proved a strong one for the firm, adding that the firm’s team had been developed to provide the support required when it is needed. Customers can enjoy easy access to top class professionals endowed with years of experience, she said.
