Heath Lambert, the independent insurance and reinsurance broker, has launched a new commercial insurance package aimed at companies that are members of the Thermal Insulation Contractors Association (TICA).

TICA Insurance Solutions offers TICA members exclusive access to cover for employer’s, public, products’ and environmental impairment liabilities, and contractors all risks.

The TICA is the “parent” association of the Asbestos Control and Abatement Division, an existing Heath Lambert affinity client that represents companies involved in industrial hot and cold insulation.

The new package will allow TICA members to access the same cover available to users of Heath Lambert’s ACAD Insurance Solutions scheme, which was launched in February 2006.

Both schemes are underwritten by AIG and include AIG’s “Accel Elite” employer’s liability cover.

This provides medical and vocational rehabilitation services for individuals making successful claims and helps to reduce the overall cost of a claim to a company.
