GAB Robins names new leader for subsidence and building
Nigel Barham has been appointed by GAB Robins to lead its UK subsidence and building division.
Barham has over 15 years of experience in developing project managed services for subsidence and building damage claims and is a Chartered Loss Adjuster and a Chartered Civil Engineer.
He is a member of both the DEFRA and ABI working groups on flood resilient materials and the Subsidence Forum Executive and Chairman of the Forum’s Customer and Communication Task Force.
His responsibilities will include managing the firm’s Romford-based subsidence and surveying centre of excellence. In addition, Barham will play a key role in helping the divison to expand its client base and supervise a broadening of services that are offered.
The centre is home to a dedicated technical unit that offers a technical library, back office support, and access to nationwide surveying, engineering and construction expertise.
The chief operating officer of GAB Robins UK, Mike Jones has said that Barham’s appointment will bolster a team that is already strong and skilled, going on to praise Barham’s good track record.
