Brit Insurance Holdings has named Clive Moore as its North American Professional Indemnity Underwriter, taking up the role on 28 November 2007.

Moore has had a long career in the industry, having worked in the London Markets and Lloyd’s since 1974. He specialises in in professional liability in USA for many professions, such as Lawyers and Architects & Engineers, and was recently a director for Grosvenor Brokers.

Brit Global Markets’ chief executive officer, Mike Sibthorpe, praised the Moore’s experience and knowledge, adding that he would enhance the firm by creating a more focused service for both clients and brokers.
