Richard Cirsch has been appointed by PWS Holdings to be its new managing director for the marine division.

Cirsch has more than two decades of experience in the London insurance market, specialising in marine broking during his long career.

He leaves behind his post on the board of SBJ, the Lloyd’s broker.

PWS described the new appointment as strategic, with a view to gradually expanding the marine division.

The firm’s CEO, Stephen Card, expressed his delight at having Cirsch join the firm to lead its marine division. Card went on to say that he was certain Cirsch would prove an invaluable asset to the team as he brings with him a great deal of experience in the field and knowledge.

Card also said that he hoped the appointment would be just the first of many that would enlarge the marine division.
