Norwich Union has added a team consisting of seven regional consultants to its property team.

The property consultants are based throughout the UK and are specialists in both residential and commercial property owner insurance.

The consultants will split their time equally between clients and brokers, advising on a broad spectrum of insurance services and products designed for individuals, companies that own or manage property, financial institutions and hold associations (residents’ or common).

Norwich Union’s trading director, George Berrie, explained that the firm wished to expand its regional expertise enabling both customers and brokers to be in contact with somebody who has intimate knowledge of the market.

He went on to say that the new regional team is an extension of the existing London Property Owner insurance specialists, European property market experts and the firm’s team of risk services’ consultants, who work together to offer personalised risk advice and insurance.
