Duncan Urquhart has been recruited by Lockton International to serve as managing director of the Internal Construction team.

Prior to his new appointment Urquhart worked for Oxygen as their head of Construction and Power. Earlier in his career he was managing director for Marsh’s Construction division for a decade.

In his new role Urquhart will be based in Lockton’s London office.

Paul Jack, Lockton International’s Global Risk Division’s executive chairman, has expressed his delight at Urquhart’s appointment.

Jack described the firm’s development plans in the construction sector as ambitious, adding that a man of Urquhart’s experience would prove incredibly useful in assisting the firm in exploiting the potential for expansion.
