Insurance comparison website comparethemarket.com has today announced it has partnered with marketing agency ZenithOptimedia in a move that will see the company step up its marketing investment to £20 million over the coming twelve months.
The website, one of the leading price comparison websites online, has announced that it is to step up its marketing efforts in a bid to grow its operation and increase market share over the coming twelve months, with a view to continuing on the momentum of previous marketing investment.
After parting company with Manchester based agency Mediavest, the firm has announced that it is looking to continue long term investment into its marketing strategy in order to boost the profile of its free-to-use insurance price comparison site.
The website acts by providing consumer advice to online customers, allowing the customer to input his or her required cover in order to find the best policy, at the best price. Working on a commission revenue basis and attractive advertising revenue from brokers and insurance companies, comparethemarket.com is steadily growing within the insurance marketplace.
Speaking today on the move, a spokesperson from comparethemarket.com said the company was delighted to partner with ZenithOptimedia to increase its foothold in the insurance market. With a view to heightening exposure of the brand online, the company said that its partnership with ZenithOptimedia would help increase return on investment over the period.
Speaking today on the move from ZenithOptimedia, executive Gerry Boyle said that he felt the venture would help provide brand value for comparethemarket.com, whilst cementing both companies within their respective markets.
It remains to be seen whether the partnership will provide the level of return expected by ZenithOptimedia over the course of the arrangement, which will see the media agency diversifying marketing expenditure in order to increase brand awareness.
