Broker Network acquires George Williams

Broker Network is acquiring George Williams Insurance Services, the commercial insurance broker based in Denbigh, for undisclosed terms.

George Williams is an existing member of Broker Network and following the acquisition will become part of the group’s UK wide retail operation.

It will, however, retain its brand identity and staff, and continue to operate from its current premises.

This is the third acquisition made by the network in as many months and Grant Ellis, its chief executive, describes the group’s acquisition pipeline as “healthy”.

Broker Network is also welcoming Manning Insurance to its membership, which currently stands at around 165.

Manning is based in Tunbridge Wells and covers general commercial insurance products.

It specialises in services to automotive based industries, providing Motor Trade, Chauffeur and Funeral Directors’ insurance.

The firm expects membership of the network to be particularly helpful in enhancing new business opportunities via the Internet.
