Willis appoint new leaders in life science and technology
A trio of key appointments has been announced by Willis, two of whom will be tasked with driving forward its life sciences and technology/telecommunications businesses with the third taking a more over-arching leadership role.
Sara Benolken has been named as Industry Leader of the firm’s Technology/Telecommunications Practice, and as Executive Vice President of North American operations.
David Shuey will be the Willis’ Industry Leader for Life Sciences and also the firm’s Executive Vice President in Maryland.
John Bayeux, currently Industry Leader for Financial Institutions Practice and the Executive Vice President for Willis in New York, has now been given the additional duty to lead all the firm’s emerging Practices.
Bayeux is to remain as head of the Financial Institutions Practice, and will also supervise the Real Estate & Hotels; Environmental, Sports, Entertainment and Media; Utilities; Life Sciences; and Technology/Telecommunications Practices (all of which have their own dedicated leaders).
The CEO of Willis North America, Don Bailey, welcomed Benolken and Shuey to the firm, congratulating them both on their appointments and extending his praise to Bayeux in his new, more prominent role.
