A new website has been launched by Heath Lambert, making specialist travel insurance available for brokers for people with pre-existing medical conditions.

The specialist scheme has been designed to make it easy for brokers to get cover for clients who are either older or have pre-existing medical conditions. A simple website has been built under the sub-brand ‘Unique’, for FSA regulated brokers, and can generate a quote in approximately 7 minutes.

Every medical condition will be considered, and no separate medical screening is required. Cover is variable, and can be global or for the EU, annual or for a single journey, with no upper age limit for a single journey.

The firm is delighted to offer this cover, said Diane Caplehorn, affinity manager of the personal lines division at Heath Lambert, which allows smaller brokers to offer greater levels of cover to their customers than might otherwise have been the case.

She added that the reaction from brokers to the new scheme was very encouraging and that the firm is dedicated to working with brokers to ensure customers who require specialist cover are able to use the new service.
