Chris Houston has been appointed as a senior consultant in Marsh’s property risk team.

Previously he was employed as a team leader in Zurich Risk Services, with responsibility for a dozen risk specialists in the high cost, high profile buildings sector.

Houston was at Zurich for five years, during which he gave advice to both public and private clients on terrorism and property risk management.

Before working at Zurich he held jobs in the entertainments and leisure sector.

He will be based in London, and offer consulting services for clients in London and the south.

Hugh Forster, Marsh’s leader in the southern zone for property risk consulting, praised Houston’s unique understanding of property loss control and risk and cited his experience in the leisure industry as one reason for this.
