Bollington Acquire Greystone Insurance Services
The Bollington Group has today announced its acquisition of Greystone Insurance Services, a commercial product provider based in Manchester, which will see the group expand over a more extensive customer base throughout the North of England.
The acquisition has been seen as a strengthening of the company’s north western reach, which will see it operating throughout Lancashire and beyond as a direct result of the buy-out of Greystone, which currently boasts both a strong customer base and existing broker loyalty.
Along with Greystone, Bollington have also made several other notable acquisitions over the last few months, as a sign that they are ready for further expansion of their domestic business.
Greystone Insurance Services currently holds in excess of £6m from customer premium payments, with a focus on its specialist market – property insurance. With property insurance sectors gaining increasing strength, the move is concerned to be a wise investment for the Bollington Group portfolio.
As the integration comes to fruition it is expected that the brand name and the existing Altrincham based operation will remain in tact, under the wider management banner of the Bollington Group.
Sources from within the Bollington Group have spoke as to their delight at the acquisition, which has proceeded at an undisclosed cost to the group. Additionally, the move should augment previous recent investment decisions, such as the acquisitions of MG Smithies and Wallwork Jensen, as part of a wider growth strategy.
Greystone has announced that the move will not come to the detriment of its customers, and in fact the level of professionalism and service provided by Bollington brands will be reflected throughout the Greystone operation post-integration.
The acquisition is expected to be fully completed over the coming week as the operation is moved through the channels to its new ownership.
