Countrywide Extend Partner Broker To Commercial Lines

The Countrywide insurance group has today announced its intention to widen the reach of its Partner Broker scheme to cover commercial insurance divisions, in line with rising demand from independent brokers nationwide.

The insurance group is extending its focus on developing broker relations through opening a wider range of products to market, as it continues to expand throughout the country and gain more of a market share for its specific product offerings.

The initiative deals with the range of Countrywide insurance policy products available to independent brokers, and allows a direct consumer selling channel for many of the network’s innovative insurance policies at present, and as they continue to develop in future.

The move is designed to further expand the scope of the network through achieving more mainstream distribution, which should see Countrywide become a more considerable force in its insurance markets.

The programme allows brokers to work with Countrywide in retailing insurance products tailored to the needs of individual corporate and consumer clients. By establishing a preferred retail status for partners on the programme, Countrywide aim to increase the size and stature of its current insurance offerings.

Over the coming months, the programme is to continue its extension into motor and vehicle related insurance packages, giving an even wider range of products to those brokers charged with providing customised solutions to their own clients.

Furthermore, Countrywide anticipate further expansions on its product portfolio over the coming year, which will see it diversify its back-end provision whilst extending its independent distribution network.

The Partner Broker Commercial range will cover corporate property insurance, as well as fleet insurance and cover for certain business assets. Additionally, it will provide brokers with the opportunity to offer liability insurance for legal challenges in the event or corporate negligence or Directors’ and Officers’ liability.
