Countrywide’s new Commercial Club, which is a joint venture with AXA, is receiving strong support from brokers. Over the past two months 36 brokers have joined, representing a support commitment of £3.6m GWP.

The Commercial Club gives members of the Countrywide network the opportunity of earning additional commission on all of AXA’s commercial product lines. In return, the broker must make a commitment of £100,000 in GWP annually.

Five Countrywide Clubs are now available in total, covering a number of individual insurers and product lines and with the focus on household and commercial products. Countrywide has plans to introduce further clubs to compliment its Partner Broker arrangement, which rewards brokers by providing a preferred status across a panel of leading insurers.

The arrangement also offers commission and rating advantages in addition to those already available via the Countrywide network. It also it provides brokers with business development support.

Countrywide will be launching Partner Broker Commercial in June and further Club launches are expected during 2007.
